Our methodologies
With significant training across many modalities, we support children and adolescents who demonstrate challenges related to sensory processing, social emotional development, and fine motor skills.
At Synergy OT, we use a long list of skilled treatments that build a child’s ability to achieve independence and participate in daily life activities: play, self-care, school and community participation, and socializing.
We design intervention plans that promote healthy development, establish needed skills, and/or modify environments — all in support of participation in everyday life. Since the “work” of a child is play, much of what we do employs structured, therapeutic play led by the child, at their own comfort level and at their own pace.
We focus on the following methodologies to help your child build their own individual confidence.
Sensory Integration
We help the child learn to take in, process, and organize the information provided by all the sensations coming from within the body and from their external environment.
